The right bolt for the Wicked Ridge Rampage XS

The correct bolt length, nock and minimum grain weight for the Wicked Ridge Rampage XS, and what stops a dry-fire.

Dry-fire warning

Bolt length, nock type and minimum grain weight are quoted from each manufacturer's published arrow data and owner documentation, cited on every page. A nock or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total grain weight.

The Wicked Ridge Rampage XS uses a 20 in bolt with a TenPoint Alpha-Nock, minimum 400 gr total (Match 400) minimum. Buy the Wicked Ridge Match 400 20 in carbon arrow with Alpha-Nock HP.

Field notes

The Rampage XS is a Wicked Ridge, TenPoint's value brand, and it shares the Alpha-Nock rule. It ships with three 20-inch Match 400 carbon arrows on an Alpha-Nock HP and shoots 390 fps.

Being an affordable Wicked Ridge does not exempt it from the Alpha-Nock requirement. A 2019-or-newer Wicked Ridge fed an Omni or flat nock loses its warranty and risks a dry-fire.
