The published spine and GPI table for the Carbon Express Maxima Triad XSD, the nock and insert it takes, and the point thread.

Dry-fire warning

Crossbow bolt data and archery arrow spine, nock and thread data are quoted from each manufacturer's published figures, owner documentation and industry standards, cited on every page. A nock, spine or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual and the arrow maker's own chart before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total weight.

Field notes

The Carbon Express Maxima Triad XSD is a micro-diameter tri-spine shaft with a.166-inch inside diameter, built on Carbon Express's RedZone construction that stiffens the ends of the shaft and leaves the flex in the middle.

It is offered in three spines, 300 at 10.9, 350 at 10.1 and 400 at 9.2 grains per inch, each with its own outside diameter, and is sorted to +/-.002-inch straightness and +/-1-grain weight.

It ships with a spine-specific In-Out insert weighing 97 grains that carries the standard 8-32 point thread, so standard broadheads and field points fit.
