Dry-fire warning
Crossbow bolt data and archery arrow spine, nock and thread data are quoted from each manufacturer's published figures, owner documentation and industry standards, cited on every page. A nock, spine or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual and the arrow maker's own chart before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total weight.

The Easton 5mm Axis is a 5mm-class carbon hunting shaft with a.204-inch inside diameter across every spine, so it takes an Easton X-size nock and a.204 HIT insert.
Its published spines run from a stiff 260 at 11.5 grains per inch down to a limber 700 at 6.1 grains per inch, which is why a heavier, higher-draw setup moves toward the 300 or 340 and a lighter youth setup toward the 500 or 600.
Because the inside diameter is.204 inches it uses the standard 8-32 point thread through its HIT insert, so any standard field point or broadhead threads straight in.
