The published spine and GPI table for the Victory VAP 166 Elite V1, the nock and insert it takes, and the point thread.

Dry-fire warning

Crossbow bolt data and archery arrow spine, nock and thread data are quoted from each manufacturer's published figures, owner documentation and industry standards, cited on every page. A nock, spine or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual and the arrow maker's own chart before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total weight.

Field notes

The Victory VAP 166 Elite V1 is a micro-diameter carbon shaft with a.166-inch inside diameter, so it takes a small G or F-class pin-style nock (Victory's IP #4), not a.204 X nock.

It is sorted to a tight +/-.001-inch straightness and runs from a stiff 200 spine at 11.3 grains per inch to a 500 at 6.1 grains per inch.

The micro.166 bore uses an insert-over-thread system; its 50-grain aluminium Shok insert takes a standard 8-32 point, which also drives the high front-of-centre these small shafts are known for.
