Field notes

The Assassin Extreme is an Excalibur recurve that ships with four 16.5-inch Proflight carbon arrows and lists a 350-grain minimum arrow weight, per its Lancaster Archery package listing. Like other Excalibur Micro-platform bows it uses a short flat-nocked arrow.

It takes the short 16.5-inch Proflight, not a 20-inch bolt. On a recurve the rail centres the string on a flat nock, so do not swap to a captured or clip-on nock made for a different bow, and do not drop below 350 total grains.
