The right bolt for the TenPoint Siege RS410

The correct bolt length, nock and minimum grain weight for the TenPoint Siege RS410, and what stops a dry-fire.

Dry-fire warning

Bolt length, nock type and minimum grain weight are quoted from each manufacturer's published arrow data and owner documentation, cited on every page. A nock or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total grain weight.

The TenPoint Siege RS410 uses a 16 in bolt with a TenPoint Alpha-Nock, minimum 400 gr total (CenterPunch16) minimum. Buy the TenPoint EVO-X CenterPunch16 16 in carbon arrow with Alpha-Nock HP.

Field notes

The Siege RS410 is the Havoc's 410-fps sibling, an ultra-compact 26.5-inch reverse-draw TenPoint that also shoots the short 16-inch EVO-X CenterPunch16 arrow with an Alpha-Nock HP.

Like the Havoc, the Siege is a 16-inch-arrow bow. Do not load a 20-inch arrow or swap the Alpha-Nock; the barrel is cut for the short CenterPunch16 and the wrong nock invites a dry-fire.
