The CenterPoint Sniper Elite 385 is a 385 fps compound that ships with 20-inch carbon arrows on a half-moon nock. Its owner's manual is explicit: only load 20-inch arrows with a half-moon nock at a finished weight of 400 grains or above.
The half-moon nock is indexed; seat the odd vane square to the string or the string can ride the groove wall and dry-fire the bow. Do not drop below the 400-grain finished weight the manual sets.
