The Hyper XP405 is a Hyper-series Barnett, so it takes the small-diameter 22-inch HyperFlite arrow with its capture nock, not a standard Headhunter bolt. American Hunter's coverage notes the Hyper nock increases string-to-nock engagement, which is what the capture design is for.
A standard-diameter Headhunter arrow will not fit the Hyper barrel. Only HyperFlite-family.204 arrows fit the Hyper series. Barnett's current page shows a slightly different speed for another arrow configuration, so match the arrow the manual specifies.
