Barnett capture nock: which crossbows use it
Where the Barnett capture nock is used, its shape, and the compatibility rule that stops a dry-fire.
Dry-fire warning
Crossbow bolt data and archery arrow spine, nock and thread data are quoted from each manufacturer's published figures, owner documentation and industry standards, cited on every page. A nock, spine or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual and the arrow maker's own chart before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total weight.

Field notes
Used on: Barnett Hyper series only (HyperFlite, HyperGhost, HyperTac 420/430, Hyper Whitetail 410).
The.204-inch HyperFlite is a small-diameter arrow with a capture nock made only for Barnett's Hyper-series crossbows; a standard-diameter Headhunter arrow will not fit the Hyper rail.
Hyper-series and standard Barnett arrows are not interchangeable. The Hyper barrel is cut for the.204 shaft, so a normal 20-inch half-moon Barnett bolt is the wrong diameter.
