The right bolt for the Barnett HyperGhost 425
The correct bolt length, nock and minimum grain weight for the Barnett HyperGhost 425, and what stops a dry-fire.
Dry-fire warning
Crossbow bolt data and archery arrow spine, nock and thread data are quoted from each manufacturer's published figures, owner documentation and industry standards, cited on every page. A nock, spine or grain-weight mismatch can cause a dry-fire that damages the bow and can injure the shooter. Confirm against your own owner's manual and the arrow maker's own chart before shooting, and never drop below the stated minimum total weight.

The HyperGhost 425 is a Hyper-series Barnett at 425 fps and 152 foot-pounds, shipped with two 22-inch HyperFlite arrows on the capture nock. The.204 small-diameter shaft is why the barrel differs from a standard Barnett.
Do not load a standard Headhunter half-moon arrow. The Hyper barrel is cut for the.204 HyperFlite; a standard-diameter bolt is the wrong arrow and a safety risk.
